US Manufacturers Threaten by Mexico Tariffs

Polaris’ off-road vehicles were manufactured in the US only over a decade ago. Their investment in Monterrey, Mexico where it now produces products like the RZR, its dune buggy-like vehicle, runs the risk of now becoming a liability. The 25% tariff on all goods coming from Mexico, that President-elect Donald Trump vowed to levy as retribution for the country’s lax efforts in stopping drug smuggling and illegal immigration, could have knock-on effects to main street.
